Current members seeking re-election to new terms:
Becky Tei: Parent to a third-grader, manages this website and McKinley’s Oregon Battle of the Books program. I am most interested in expanding McKinley’s menu of extracurricular programs and scaling up fundraising to support them. I feel that continuting efforts by exec committee to increase transparency and McKinley community outreach will be important as we move forward.
Jason Tei: Parent to a third-grader, current PTC Treasurer. In addition to Treasurer duties such as budget proposals, cash flow management, and filing taxes, I help provide support to other program leaders to aid in the operation of their programs, such as Battle of the Books, Artists and Authors, Carnival, and various others. I am hoping to lead a Virtual Chess Club for grades 3-5 during the summer of 2020 and want to continue to help others lead their projects as well.
Christine Heyen: Parent to a fourth-grader, current PTC President. Christine has been active with the PTC for several years, and has served as PTC president for three years. Christine is glad to serve the McKinley school community in this administrative role. Her greatest hope for McKinley is that it continues its legacy of community and strong teacher support for years to come.
Kyle Phillips: Parent to a second-grader
Zach Voss: Parent to second, third, and fourth graders
Nominations to executive committee are now closed. Voting to fill empty executive committee seats will take place at the PTC Annual Membership Meeting on June 9th, 6:30pm.
